I won't shed any tears for Mutant X (I watched it until the season they killed off folks), and I might only shed one or two for Andromeda, but I just started watching it again to see the last season. Here's the report:

I guess that means Andromeda will be on until they get the shows out that they've already produced.

I thought that Sci-Fi picked up Andromeda with the intention of only doing one year.

Had potential, jumped the shark the minute whatshername lost the purple makeup and tried to go cryptic.

Hmm, who is correct? Because this site says that the show was renewed for S5.

That's part of the reason behind the lawsuits that have been filed.

Yes, Andromeda WAS renewed for a season 5, and even picked up a deal with Sci-Fi Channel. That was before CanWest decided to dissolve Fireworks, the production company responsible for both Andromeda and MutantX. Unwilling to go it alone, Tribune decided to cancel both shows... and now lawsuits are being filed.
