Does anyone know when the new season of Dead Like Me on showtime will start? I can't WAIT to see season two.

Showtime has been saying June.

Thanks. That about what I figured as the show started in about June of last year, IIRC.
That show was easily one of the best I had ever seen. I waited every week for it to come on. I can't wait for it to start again.

I'm quite glad to hear it'll be back for a second season. This was one of those shows that I stumbled upon and was quite glad I did. :)

I stumbled on to it too. We got showtime and starz last year for my fathers birthday (it will be exactly a year this Wednesday). One day I was watching Showtime because some movie I wanted to watch was about to start in a few minutes. They played an ad for an origional series about a dead girl working as a grim reaper in the afterlife. I saw that ad many times afterwards, but I was hooked. I eargly waited the month or 6 weeks or whatever for the show to start.
Dead Like Me is the only show on a premium network I've ever watched (we've never subscribed to HBO or anything before). I was AMAZED at how good the show was. Now I check out all sorts of their shows to see if sometihng else catches me.
Network TV wouldn't be having problems if they could get more shows of the quality of Dead Like Me. Instead we get "The Littlest Groom" and "Fear Factor: In-Law's Deadly Virus Edition". There are some good shows on network TV (Joan of Arcadia, Everwood, and others), but Dead Like Me showed me just how great cable shows could be (the only other fiction cable show that I really watch is Monk, which is also great).

Well, I watched part of an episode on the TiVo last night and the promo said season 2 begins in JULY...not June as I suggested earlier.
Sorry about that--my bad.

However, TVShowsonDVD.com shows that the season 1 release on DVD is scheduled for June 15. Here is more information.
Good if you missed some episodes, or you want to show someone who's never seen the series.
