Homer: "Quiet, the commercial's on! If we don't watch these, it's like we're stealing TV" :D

I thought this was the best show in years. Almost every line was a laugh.

Anyone else catch Ralph Wiggum on the pig shredder?

Yes. He wanted to go to Bovinue University, but I guess he wasn't good enough. ;)

Both eps tonight were really good (I hadn't seen the Snowball 5/robot rumble one before). My favorite part was the tip of the hat to Principal Skinner's true beginnings when Lisa decided to call Snowball 5 "Snowball 2". :)

I missed the "I, d'oh!-bot" episode originally (fell off my TiVo before I could watch it - hey, I was away on vacation). So I watched it off suprnova a couple of weeks ago. Very good also.

Let's just pretend nothing of this happened.

:)

Sixteen years, and still brilliantly written.

I thought this one was great. I saw Ralph. Loved the Spider-man Spoof

(Homer, as PieMan, smacks Krusty in the face with a pie)

"That was for your show's gradual decline in quality over the years!"

Nice nod to all the Simpsons whiners out there. You know who you are.

I like how in the beginning they took a shot at Fox and un-reality shows. :)

Yeah. I've always loved the Simpsons and their ability to mock Fox. :)

"This isn't an island... it's a PENINSULA!"

Loved this episode, and I found myself laughing a lot more frequently than I expected at first. I think this may be my favorite episode of the season.

I'm surprised that this thread has been around for almost 2 days, and no one has pointed out how they're spoofing a movie that was released two years ago. ;)

Loved this episode. Ripping on Fox was classic (always is).

"He said it was just a name!"
"What he meant is that Monster Island is actually a peninsula."

You know, I might have to pick up this Season Pass again. Sounds like the episodes have improved since Homer abandoned Bart in the rain.

Are you talking about the episode way back when, when Homer was supposed to pick up Bart at soccer practice? (Milhouse: "Kcip pu trab! Kcip pu trab!") Or has there been a more recent episode where Homer abandoned Bart in the rain that I'm blocking from my memory?

That would be "Trab pu kcip": http://www.snpp.com/episodes/9F12.html.

If there has been one, I'm blocking it, too.

Marge [about to walk out front door]: "Homer, remember to pick up Bart!"

Homer: "I'm on my way!" [Homer watching TV's "Wheel of Fortune'', as the puzzle has reached "I'm on my wa_".]

It was one where Homer and Bart went grifting. (I may be wrong about the rain.) Episode CABF03:

"Sixty cents? I would have made more if I'd gone into work today!"
"Hey, don't blame me, I've gotta compete with TV and the internet."
"A good son would come through for his dad."
"Yeah, and a good dad wouldn't miss his son's little league games!"
"I told you -- I find them boring!"
"Well I showed up for all your stupid interventions!"
"Oh, that's it! You can walk home!" [gets in car and drives away]
"Dad, come back! I can't walk home with all this stuff."
[Bart sits on the curb....]
