Judging Amy Question-

I realize this isn't the most popular show here... but I was wondering if anybody would do me a huge favor, if I pay for tapes, shipping, etc..

I don't have a VCR- but my mom has been DYING to see this show since I was talking to her about it. Thing is, despite how many times I try to walk through setting her VCR to tape- she just can't get the hang of it. This week- the show is starting from the Pilot episode on Wednesday (3pm TNT time) and I was wondering if anybody either had the episodes already saved and/or on tape and would copy them for me, or would be willing to record them (daily) so I can ship them to her.

I know- it is a big request and I am going to see if I can figure out a way to get into the Judging Amy Board (since I am banned)- because I know someone there might already have them....

So if you can help me- please let me know, if not- no worries! Thanks!

There's a Judging Amy Board? And it is possible to get banned from it? And you managed it? I think there's a story here.

Shoot. I'd do it-I've been recording all the episodes on the good ol' Tivo, but I have yet to figure out how to connect all my components so they work properly. :D Maybe I can get the roommate to work on that-the only problem is that I'll most likely stop when they get to where I started watching-year three or so.

Or...I could tape them directly on the other VCR....hm. Let me do some thinking on this one...

There has got to be a way to teach your Mom to set up her VCR. Wouldn't it be cheaper and less hassle to pay a neighbor kid to come over and set it up? It would just be one repeating recording M-F, right?

Trust me... I have tried, she will just get frustrated and give up. My little brother will screw it up, god forbid the power goes out and you have to do it all over again- don't even get me started... she has regressed to a 4 year old it seems in some areas, but that is another rant.

Yes, there is a Judging Amy board.

Yes, it is quite possible, and darnright easy, to get banned.

I got banned too, although I can now read the posts again, I haven't tried to actually make a post, so I don't know how "banned" I really am anymore.

no I usually just delete them. I could start recording the new ones though.

Completely unrelated to the original post, but should I be alarmed that the more I watch this show, the more I'm getting paranoid that the Donna character was patterned and written based on me? :)
