I want Rupert to win, as he has been my sentimental favorite since the last Survivor. But I don't think he will win. My bet is Amber will most likely win it.

Rupert is a strategic idiot. No chance he will win. Rob has dominated from the beginning. He'll get the respect to win the whole thing.

Unfortunately I agree that Rupert is a strategic idiot. He is so good at the survival aspect but just doesn't have the social game down.

I too want Rupert but I think Rob will win. He's making these all-stars look like amateurs. They all think he's taking them to the final 2.

Boston Rob.

Rupert, or at least the editing of Rupert, has made him very dull in my opinion. Aside from fishing he screws up a lot.

Boston Rob! No other Survivor has ever controlled/intimidated the rest of the players so well. And on top of that, most of what he does is right out in the open!

Jenna is the last person I would like to see win.

I would like to see Rupert win... But I wouldn't bet my hard earned money on him...

I wonder how the poll results would be if the question were who you thought would likely win... Cuz my answer would be different...

I don't like any of them, especially Boston Rob, but he is the only person who deserves to win. The rest of them are idiots, plain and simple. The only one actively playing an end game (and it's working, to boot) is Rob. Not only that, he actually wins challenges. Everyone else is lucky to get by week to week. Rupert was one of my favorite Pearl Islands contestants, but he has not distinguished himself on this installment in any way.

I think this was part of his plan-he came forward and showed WAY to much in Pearl Islands that he was a physical threat. Yeah, sure there were some mistakes there's no way he could have made intentially, but there have been some that have been suspect, particularly early on.

I want to see Rupert win because I've fallen in the to reality producers' trap of finding a character I can REALLY relate to.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon with Rupert, I hope Big Tom sides with Rupert and Jenna so they can vote off Rob and then Amber will be voted off next. I think amber is playing a good game too, she does bad in the challenges but she's only still in the game this far because of Rob.

Rupert is the only one I'd like to see win, but I think he will be gone soon. As much as it pains me, Boston Rob probably deserves to win.

I want Rupert to win. Actually, I'd be glad if he could at least make it to the Final Four. But, unless he wins immunity on Thursday, he's toast.

I loved Rupert last time around, but I just have not been that impressed with his all-star performance. I mean, the guy decided to build a big sandy hole for a shelter, during rainy season! :rolleyes: And his people skills have not really impressed me either.

Honestly, I think I am rooting for Amber. I think she is playing Rob, and if she is then I think she's doing a fantastic job. OK, it's not the most feminist-friendly strategy to pick the strongest guy and sleep with him for the purposes of avancement, I grant you that. In principle I'm against it. But still, she's got a solid plan and she is doing really well with it and making it work, and she's not pure evil like BRob, so she gets my vote.

Just a question regarding Amber: Is simply riding a guy's coat tails, really "playing" him? Unless she does something to stab him in the back to get her further, then I'd say she hasn't "played" anything.

I agree, I think Rupert is gone Thursday. I would like to see him win, but BRob I think will win.

I hope Amber really screws Brob over. I would like to see Rupert win with Big Tom second, Amber third, Jenna fourth and Brob fifth. I hope the tide will turn tomorrow by Brob not winning immunity so they can vote him off.

Boston Rob may be the only one "playing" the game, but if he loses than his strategy was bad.

If Amber wins by riding rob's coattails, then her strategy was better than his.

Boston Rob may still be in a controlling position, but if he loses 9-0 at the jury, then his strategy pretty much was crap.

Man, what a Rupert love fest. I admit, I liked him for most of his first Survivor appearance, but after he went nuts about getting a vote, he has gone straight down hill for me. The more I see of him, the less likeable qualities I think he has.

And to answer Skittles, no I won't be pissed. If she wins, she wins. I've always believed that if you win, you deserve to win. The object is to be the last one standing, it doesn't matter a bit to me how you got there. There really is no cheating, isn't there really only one rule that you can't hit another survivor.

Oh, and I want Boston Rob to win since he entertains me the most.

I want Rupert to win. I expect BRob to win but I really despise his cocky manner. I hope Amber pulls one on him. BRob winning would probably rank as the second worst Survivor outcome. The worst was the porno star....I can't even remember his name. Thank goodness that guy was not on the All-Star show.

I don't expect Brob to win because in order to win you have to get votes from a jury that hates him whoever reaches the end with Brob which will probably be amber will win.

I've said it before, I'll say it again-he just seems worn out to me. I don't care how many days or months were between the two shows-doing two in a six month time span is a lot.

And as for his exit speech, he apologized later and said he was angry and hurt...so I guess I don't care so much about it. Many Survivors go off angry and hurt, doesn't turn me off to them. In fact, I predict he'll act the same way if he gets voted off this time. It's just human nature for the insecure to get defensive when they get the short end of the stick.

I think his strategy is the best out of the group, everyone's scared of him, no one wants to stand up to him.

If Rob gets to the final 2 with anybody but Rupert, then I think Rob will win. I agree it's most likely to be Amber he's up against, since Big Tom hasn't done anything helpful or interesting in the game at all, and neither has Jenna.

Sure, the jury likes Amber more than Rob at this point, but I think he'll win anyway. Rob can say to the jury: Yes, some of you don't like me. Yes, I betrayed people, absolutely I did. Of course you are pissed at me. But that's the game, and I was consistently the strongest player in this game, and that's why I deserve to win. Amber is great as a person and obviously I really like her, but all she did strategically was stick to me like glue. This is all stars and that type of play should not be enough for a win. He'd be right, too. I think the others would have a hard time countering that. If Amber wants to win, I think she needs to show the other players that she is really playing BRob by turning against him at some point. Or pretending to turn against him, at least.

I have amber with a passion, she's only here because of Rob and she doesn't do good on the missions, Remember that this is Survivor Allstars, the best of the best, Rupert or Rob deserve to win, but I want Rupert to win.

I totally agree with you...The only thing I wonder about is that no one ever really says this during the final tribal council. They all talk about how they tried to play honestly and not deceive people, and they are sorry if anyone was offended or hurt...blah blah blah. At least that's how it seems to me in all of the final tribal councils. I can't remember if Richard made this argument or not. I wonder why no one just fesses up, since most jury members still vote for the person they feel played the best game regardless of personal feelings.

I'm in the Rupert camp, although I really don't think he will/has won. Unfortunately, I don't imagine anyone but Boston Rob winning. I can't stand the guy, but he did play the game. I just can't believe all the idiots who let him stick around this long. They should have gotten rid of him when Shi-Ann won immunity.

Extending the Amber coat-tail riding scenario, in these final stages what is a better strategy for her assuming she has no strong emotional involvement with Rob:

a) continue to ride along, using Rob as a 'protector', and not stirring much up, in the hope that if she makes the final 2 with Rob, the juries dislike for him will overcome any respect they may have for the success he had. Therefore, Amber wins the final 2 as the 'nicer' choice.

b) stab Rob in the back at an opportune moment (final 3/4?) Assuming she makes it to the final 2, she has lost BRobs vote, but hopefully gained the respect of those who see she was playing him all along.

So, which Amber has a better chance in the final 2? Nice-(but boring)-all-the-way Amber, or Suddenly-revealed-as-a scheming-b*tch Amber?

I hate AMBER SO MUCH, she shouldn't be an allstar, she's still here because or Rob and it pisses me off, she's ugly too.
