Can anyone tell me when the normal Spring Software Update is rolled out?

There's a "normal" spring software update?

I don't think an update every spring (or summer, fall, or winter) should be assumed. Updates are released when Tivo has something to release, which is less and less often these days.

The next major update will come along in the fall when TiVo rolls out TiVoToGo. Until then I wouldn't expect much, if anything, for SA users. (It's possible they could release an incrimental upgrade to update the USB network drivers)

Hopefully a full roll out of 3.1.1C for thouse unlucky people who dont have it. They are (supposedly) doing beta's on DirecTV boxes.

It sure would be nice to get that darn indexing thing fixed.

We would like groups (aka folders) for all users too.

I think ADent is referring to a bug on DirecTiVos which causes them to mistakenly display a banner stating that guide data is not complete and it will be updated in 1 to 2 days.
They have been displaying this 1 to 2 days banner for months now. The 3.1.1C software is suppose to correct this bug, but it is being rolled out very slowly.

Ok, thanks. As a brand new customer to D*, I am pretty sure I HAVE 3.1.1c already, but thanks for the heads up.

*tears of joy* Does... does that mean I could finally HMO on my combo unit? Could it talk to my other TiVo? Should I not get my hopes up? HMO? You know what, I could live without HMO if they'd just install the "Sort in Folders" software update.

The picture adjusted poorly on my TV... I've had my dish for 3 months and just found it 2 weeks ago at the bottom of the screen. I feel silly.
