It appears from my short time with the HD10-250 that if I'm recording two shows (let's say one on D* and one OTA) I cannot watch a third. Maybe I don't understand how to do it or even if it's possible but with 4 tuners I was hoping I could.

If you are recording two shows, then the third show you can watch has to be already recorded. You can't be recording 2 shows and watch another show on "live TV" at the same time.

you can only record/view on 2 tuners at any given time... you can however record two things and watch something in your now playing list (b/c its not using a tuner).

the reason for 4 tuners is so you could record any combination of 2 things at once.
