I realize the show isn't even over yet..... but seriously, this is the worst seaon ever.
I don't even believe any of these girls are remotely interesting, entertaining, sincere (or old enough to be really sincere)- and Jesse is just a tool.
He picked the worst women, I feel like I am watching Blind Date or something, I just don't get that he has any where near the type of relationship, or emotional connection with these girls that any of the other bachelors (or bachelorettes) had...
I can't quite put my finger on it, but this is the first time that I can't believe anybody would even want a ring at the end, including the girls. I feel like I am watching strangers on a first date each week.....
Bah- who cares who gets kicked off..... they all suck.

OK.. now that I saw Trish in next weeks preview....
FINALLY something I can get on board with.
If I can't have true love, I at least want a hell of a lot of scorned woman drama.....

I didn't see the preview. What does it show?

How does Trish manage to track them down? And don't you think Jesse really wants to "spend the night" with Trish? And can you imagine what Mandy J is thinking when Trish walks in on her date? I'm with you...bring on the drama!

Trish interrupting a date between Jesse and one of the blondes to offer Jesse hot and sordid sheet dancing. This show took a right turn into absurdville with this episode and trailer.
Trish: I get what I want.
Yeah well geuss what, nitwit, if you wanted to look bad on National TV you're getting it. Even her poor family has to be trying to figure out a way to explain to her why all the girls hate her.

Calls one of the producers. Trish couldn't track a ring onto her finger...

I hate that I missed the preview for next week...maybe I can find it online somewhere.
I can't imagine it being that hard to track them down...all she would have to do is ask someone on the production staff where they're going next.
I'm betting on Jessica to be the winner. Mandy J is kinda scary and Tara has man issues.

I actually thought Trish was the best fit for Jesse. I'm sure his number of partners is >30 also. And the other girls are just really young or too into pageants.

This whole thing is just so contrived..... the producers shouldn't tell a bootee where they are going on out of town dates, it feels like a total set up- god, it's like she is an actress hired to be on the show...

I basically agree with scubagal. I get the feeling watching these dates that they're not emotionally connected - that they're basically trying to get to know each other, trying to form the connection. A long way from marriage material.
But that preview with Trish really makes me want to tune in next week. However, it's hard for me to swallow this new plotline with Trish. It makes me strongly suspect that it's scripted. i.e. not reality TV at all.

I should think that by now people would know that Bachelor needs to be padded. Personally I have mine set as a manual recording from 8 pm to 9:02 pm (CST). It works out perfectly. The show, including preview ends just a few seconds before 9:02.

Sure, the producers scripted the part where Trish gets to interrupt a date, but I doubt that the reaction of the beauty queen and Jesse are scripted. That's the most interesting part. If it were scripted, the show wouldn't be popular because it wouldn't feel real.

Heh. Get us away from Enterprise and we agree.

Ah, but beware!! Next week, they have the "Women Tell All" special from 9 to 10 (EDT), then the new show from 10 to 11. They both show up as "The Bachelor". So if you pad it, you'll miss the new show. Check it out. Of course, they may rename the special to something else before air time; that happened once before too.

Thanks... that's why I check the Season Pass alerts forum. I don't actually use the padding feature... it's a manual repeating recording that ends 2 mins past the hour on my unsubbed TiVo. I didn't know about the 2 hours next week. So I'll schedule that. Unfortunately, this means a conflict with Southpark, but maybe I can borrow my wife's TiVo to resolve the conflict. That, or resolve it with a VCR.

I hope they don't make Trish the next Bachelorette.
I saw photos of Trish on some coupon inserts in last sunday's paper. I have to admit she takes a good photo, but some of the things she said on the show makes her ugly on the inside...to me, at least.

I would guess that if Trish were the Bachelorette, it would be one of the lowest ranked shows. She's a tv trainwreck and there's only so much carnage people will take...
