How far are you from your OTA towers?

Ok, I kinda joked about this in the Silver Sensor thread, but I started thinking more about it.

My locals are on the 72.4 slot bird that D* is trying to get leased/approved by the FCC. Seeing as that is not likely to happen before the next snowfall, I'd thought I'd ask how far people are from there OTA towers.

Personally, I have no towers near me in Vermont (05001). There is Burlington 70-ish miles NNW from me (with no DTV) and Boston about 90-ish miles SSE from me (with a ton of DTV).

I would really like to drop cable (as it sucks utterly) and go back to D*, but I want the HDTiVo.

So... with that said... how far are you picking up your OTA signals from? And do you think I Stand a chance with an antenna on my house? BTW this IS Vermont... so it is a bit mountainous.

Thanks
Casey

I live about 45 miles from towers for New Orleans. We now have all the major networks broadcasting DTV, but only a few are at full power. Currently I can catch CBS, NBC & PAX I occasionally catch ABC from another city Biloxi, Miss. I'm using a channel master 4228 antenna and I'm installing a pre amp this week hopefully that will bring in the remainder of my stations. 90 miles I'm not sure but I doubt you'll catch anything unless the stations are broadcasting at full power, then with a large antenna you may catch them.
