Crime dramas to catch up on?

Need some help finding off-season programming to get me through the summer-specifically, crime dramas if anyone has any suggestions. Or dramas that I would like that might not be crime dramas.

I've watched all the episodes of L&O, all three incarnations, most of the Judging Amy episodes (which isn't really crime drama, I know, bu it's close), a lot of the CSIs, etc.

For some reason, I've never gotten into NYPD Blue.

Last year, I passed the summer by watching all the episodes of Quincy.

Any suggestions for this summer? My Now Playing is getting a bit thin.

I was always a big fan of Homicide: Life on the Streets. I don't think being rerun on any of the stations at the moment but you can rent Seasons 1-4.

Crossing Jordon wasn't too bad either...

I tried watching Cold Case but couldn't get through it. You may understand it though.

I enjoy cold case, and I'm always plugging "Waking the dead" on BBCA whenever I get the chance. :)

I give a big recommendation for Touching Evil on USA. I think the season ends in another week or two, and then you should be able to get repeats (you never know with USA though...).

I like "Without A Trace" as well. (but I rarely met a crime drama I didn't like).

I really like Cold Case and Navy NCIS, although I could do with some toning down of the Kate and Tony interaction on the latter. :) I used to like JAG back when it was first on but I haven't watched it in years.

Crossing Jordan is pretty good; I've recently discovered this one and I like it a lot. I'm a Miguel Ferrer fan, and a Jill Hennessey fan from L&O and they are both quite good in this.

Cold Case started out pretty excellent but they kept throwing it off by anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour with football :( so I couldn't keep up with it without losing something else. I'll be looking for reruns over the summer to catch up.

Navy NCIS and JAG are both good if you like the Belisarius style. Sometimes the inter-character action takes away from the plots though and there's a lot of self-reference and self-humor between the shows.

Football's been over since January though. :)

Touching Evil is very good. I really enjoyed the end of this past ep. Very human characters.

I recommend JAG. They always have good writing and there are a ton of old episodes to fill your hard drive.

Homicide, most definitely. But you'll have to do it renting/buying the DVDs since Court TV doesn't carry it anymore. :(

I'm been meaning to check out The Shield but haven't gotten around to it yet.

The Wire is also excellent, if you have HBO that is.

The Shield.

If they don't rerun the entire show from the beginning, rent or buy the DVDs to catch up. The current run is about half way done or so, and it has a lot of plot threads to wade through, so I wouldn't join it in progress.
