So I see that the HD Tivo shows up on Harmony's list of Hughes "satellite decoders".

Can anyone give me an indication as to how good the implementation is? Will I have to have to run some tweaks to make the implementation complete? If so, can someone tell me what they are so I don't have to experiment?

Not to free-ride on anyone's hard work, but I'd like to free-ride on someone's hard work. :)

I have the 659 and the Harmony implementation was very good. I moved a few buttons to make things easier and adjusted the delay - that was the biggest issue. Other than that, things worked flawlessly - didn't have to re-learn any codes.

The things you'll likely have to do:
1. Adjust the delay from 500ms to 100ms.
2. Move/remap some of the buttons to make the layout slightly easier, although this is personal perference.

It's easy to do this with the Harmony, however.

I have both remotes - both currently controlling among other things my two ReplayTV's on two different TV's. I just received my HR10-250 HD Tivo bought from Circuit City and will probably do some experimentation this weekend to determine the better of the two - in terms of controlling the HD Tivo.
As of now, controlling ReplayTV's I think I like the H688 but the activity buttons are darn close together and nearly impossible to read...but they are color coded which helps. I know the green button is live tv and the blue is ReplayTV.
I'll repost in this thread when I get the HD TIVO hooked up. I'll probably try the H659 first.

The remote that came with my HR10-250 doesn't work. Tried batteries that came with it as well as some other new ones.
I have a Harmony SST-659, which seems to work great with this unit. However, there are some buttons on the TIVO remote that don't show up on the Harmony Setup (like Ratio). And since I can't teach it with the broken remote, I don't know how to add it.

FWIW, I put Ratio up on the LCD buttons.

I would think a call to Harmony Customer Service could get this resolved. The couple of times I have called they have been very helpful and got my problem solved.
I would also think that if anybody had learned the Ratio command in Raw mode Harmony would have that information and be able to get it to you.

Thanks everyone! My unit hasn't arrived yet, so I'm not sure what you mean by "ratio" button (aspect ratio?), but it sounds overall like it won't take much time to get things going the way I want them to.
