The guide data for Howard Stern on E! has changed. Typically there is a new episode at 11 pm ET, a rerun of an old episode at 11:30 pm, and then at 2 am and 2:30 am there are repeats of the 11 and 11:30 shows. Up until now, the guide data simply had a generic episode description "The shock jock records his daily radio show" with an airdate of "6/13/1994". This means that a season pass would pick up all shows, and you would have to either periodically delete the duplicate airings from the To-Do or Now Playing list, or set up a recurring manual recording.

Beginning on 5/17 the episodes are individually identified. This means that if you have a season pass, only one of the 11 pm or 2 am showings will be recorded, and only one of the 11:30 pm or 2:30 am shows will be recorded.

This is an improvement, but there still is not completely accurate guide data. There is no episode description at all now, and the 11:30/2:30 epsiode is always indicated as a new episode, not a repeat. So a FRO season pass will still pick up the 11:30 repeats.

The reason this is an alert is that if you have a season pass, and by force of habit, delete the duplicate airings in the To-Do list, you might wind up causing both airings to not record due to the 28-day rule.

I dont use a SP for Howard. I just record M-F from 11pm-12
on the E channel. Had many problems with the SP
for this show. The LasVegas shows this week have
been great!
