Wife and I love this show...except for De-bozo.

Anyway, last nights episode kind of pissed us off..

Are they trying to tell me that a Navy Seal committed suicide because his wife found out he was gay? I don't buy it.

If I'm going to commit suicide it's not going to be by throwing myself off a cliff. He's a seal....and if they had a mission coming up and he wanted to commit suicide...why not go on the mission and take a bullet.

I don't know..someone explain that episode to me.

Well on a mission getting killed would have a much greater change to screwing up the mission or getting your teammates killed. Presumably even though he wanted to die, he didn't want his teammates to die, or for the hostage rescue to fail.

This way he could plan it, and (he thought) make it look like an accident. There might not have been a bullet to take on the actual mission. I love this show.

Actually I don't remember for sure - did he know that the wife knew he was gay? Funny thing is, I wasn't really on the right track, but because of Doug Savant (the Priest, who also played Matt (who was gay) on Melrose Place), I was thinking the whole time about someone being gay, but I never really thought about it being the dead guy.

This thread is missing the episode date in the title. It could be mistaken for allowing unprotected spoilers for any episode.

With both Darla and Hamilton is this episode, I kept looking for Angel :)

What was with Gibbs tucking in and zipping up at the end of the episode? Kate was in the front seat as well, so did she um.... help him with something?

He did know. The wife mentioned that she confronted him and the argued about it. (That was why he was sleeping in the den).

That's OK. With Jayne in the episode I keeps looking for Mal, Kaylee, and Vera. :)
