I have recently purchased a DSR704 Directivo and upgraded the hardrive to a 160GB Maxtor. I used sleeper to Monte the system and everything seemed to go just fine. I booted up the system and was watching tv in no time. However, since then my tivo will only stay up for about 10-15 minutes at a time before it spontaneously reboots. I have tried running with the cover off in case of a heat issue but that doesnt seem to do it. The following is an edited copy of my serial bash sesion. Any ideas?

is the disk getting full so you are over 137 gig. if so did you use maxblast 3 to reduce the size of the disk... the series 2 kernel only supports 137 gig and if you go over it is will screw up

just double checked...thought it was a 160gb that i had transfered from my series 1...but it was just a 120gb

and definatly not full, in fact i havent managed to record anything yet.
