Sorry if this one's come up a million times, but I'm new to all of this. I have a Hughes DirecTV TiVo box, and I'd love to add it to my home intranet. I have a SpeedStream wireless router, and I'd like to connect a wireless card to the TiVo. Can anyone point me to some instructions on how to do this? I know Tivo is offering this new Home Media option, but that apparently isn't supported for DirecTV boxes.
Thanks for any help.

Wonderful response ! I've been looking around myself. Without some understanding of the software, Iam a little lost. I see posts from some of the more knowledgeable folks on these boards, but they seem to have issues with someone asking for the simple (relative) questions that us "newbies" ask. Ive put in a larger hard drive, and tried some of the other hacks, but found that they didn't work... only locked the box up ! I think I have to change the eeprom programing in the direct TV box, but not sure just where to start.... well good luck, and if you get everything working on the Direct TV Tivo from Hughes, write a "Newbie" how to, remembering how hard it was for you the first time.....:D
