"Teach" Tivo new IR codes???

as it seams as though Serial control will not likely work for my situation, I think I will need to teach my Tivo new IR codes if there is any chance of getting it to work with this new television system my country has just gotten.

just in case its relevent, the receiver will be a brand called topsfield which is not really present in the US. I also use the US Sony SVR2000.

B: Are you saying the cable or satellite box is a topsfield?

that would make sense. Topfield does a lot of business down there. yes, topfield makes the tuner, its a digital terrestrial receiver with a smart card for decoding.

actually looks like a very cool system, like directv, but without the dish.

But it costs 150 euros!
