After posting in this thread, it started to drive me crazy.

What was the name of the following show: it was 2002 and all the dumb games exploded onto the scene... like The Chamber, The Chair...etc.

The game show had a large wall with a bunch of little cubical type things with different people sitting in them.. it had a bunch of strange rules about who got points and which pod / cubical thingy was active. Didn't last long...

Anyone remember what I am talking about?

no the chamber was a lot like the chair... this one was like Hollywood Squares on PCP.

I remember the ads for the chair... where they dangled an alligator in front of this woman strapped to the chair.

The Chair was the one with John McEnroe as the host, wasn't it? He would grill you and berate you as you tired to asnwere questions.

Yeah, that is the one where they hooked a heart-rate monitor to the contestants, and if their heart rate was too high then they weren't allowed to answer the question. Then the tried to scare the contestants into making their heart rates go up.

Yes, it was Winning Lines... who came up with the dumbass name of THAT show??? Probly Dick Clark himself, and no one would overrule him. :)

Maybe it was winning lines but I remember it being meant to look more ominous... but that is probably it.

Actually, it was based on a British show, so you can blame the folks across the pond for the name. (Over there, it was related to the national lottery, so all the rules and the numbering system made a little bit more sense.) One of the best, most exciting bonus rounds of all time, but everything leading up to it was pretty dull.
