Telnet AWOL

I can no longer access the bash prompt via telnet. I have Airnet installed and I can ping TiVo and programme updates, Dailymail and TiVoweb all work normally over the Wi-Fi. Tried Telnet from two separate Pc's without success. I get the 'connecting' message and then the screen closes. Reboots make no difference.

Anyone had similar experiences?

Any suggestions?

Forget. It is a Wi-Fi problem.

I installed two large Martin Logan electrostatic speakers and they are squelching the radio. I will install a high gain antenna on the TiVo which should fix the problem.

Done - now works fine.

If anyone needs to up their Wi-Fi signal strength suggest you try this lot: www.wirelesspro.co.uk . Amazing how much power increase you can get simply by changing the antenna.
