I have some suggestions that would greatly improve TIVO… Not to say that I don’t love TIVO the way it is…TIVO RULES!!!!...

but, on to my suggestions, I think TIVO should display the number of hours left on the TIVO… TIVO only displays the number of hours total… but if you have a lot of recorded showed all at different qualities, it would be very helpful to know how much free space is left to record onto.

Also it would be VERY helpful if TIVO allowed the user to make folders in which to put their shows… that way some one could put all their movies in one folder and maybe also have a folder for each member in the household with each of their favorite shows in their folder..

this one might not be possible, but if one of my season pass shows has been cancelled, it would be nice if tivo told me..

and tivo should automaticlly find another showing of the one i ask for if it conflicts with another more important show

this one is important and should be no problem to change, tivo should allow partial recordings, if one show starts at 9:59, like ER, but u have a show alreadying being recorded till 10 it should start recording the second one as soon as the first finishes......as a side of this, tivo should allow the user to start a show late and/or end early.. currently it only allows for starting early and/or ending late....

does anyone know if there are any reasons why tivo hasnt already done what i have mentioned here?.. i would have thought they would have thought of these things... maybe programming issues or something

and am i the only one who thinks these issues should be address or do you agree?

Those are all pretty common items on people's wishlists. Tivo has apparently decided to focus their resources on other things. I agree that all those features would be very nice indeed.

i have another suggestion I WANT TO KNOW WHAT TIVO CHANGES IN THEIR "UPDATES".... what exactly is being changed, and how does it benift the user?
