Is there any way to enable the tivo to stream the movies i have on my pc through it. Similar to the modded xbox. I have looked all over the net for this and found nothing. Tivo told that the HMO is not capable of doing that. I would have just got that if it did. ANy help would be appreciated.

Replay units can.

There may be a hack at 'the other site', but I don't think so.

If you have a SA unit just get a video out port on your computer and use the video in on the SA.

A hacked TiVo can also stream video over ethernet to another computer or X-Box. But that requires extraction, discussion of such is verboten.

Search a little harder. Try google keywords "stream tivo to pc"

[edit] ooops misread the question, you want to insert non-tivo movies to a TiVo? Not yet supported.
