Hi all,

I have already posted my pet-peave, which is more zoom/crop modes so we do not have to see bars on 1080i OTA broadcasts, which are not in HD. You cannot depend on the Tv to do these functions and you need to incorporate these features into the HR10-250. Just like you have done in the Hughes e86 and other brands as well.

A few more I have thought of:

Tivo is used to people being severe time shifters, who do not watch much/any live TV. Since the HD10-250 is also an HD receiver, I think you need to add some of the basic features which just about EVERY DirecTV HD receiver has in the marketplace:

1) Add Caller-ID
2) More Favorites buckets (only one now. Most have several more.)

I love the recording capabilities and all of the goodies dedicated to recording , however some of us do watch Live TV and the HR10-250 is lacking a number of the basic DirecTV features found in many leagcy HD receivers.

If you want people to replace their legacy HD Receivers with a HD DirecTV Tivo, you need to satisfy the feature sets they already have, not reduce them.
