The universal remotes that Lidl are currently doing ("Universal Fernbedienung 8 in 1") seem quite happy to control TiVo, and are Ł4.99 :D

The code you need is 012. (Funny, though - the PAUSE button does slow play and the STOP button pauses!)

(EDIT: the MENU and TEXT ON buttons are the equivalent of the TiVo button, the button to the left of EXIT is Live TV, TEXT OFF is Clear and A/B is Skip To End. There doesn't seem to be Instant Replay, Aux Bypass or VCR Bypass, which is annoying as I actually use those!)

I've recently purchased one of these remotes, but it doesn't work using code 012 on the AUX button of the Universal Remote. I haven't set the address on my TiVo, so I don't think that's the problem. Any suggestions?
