Longer hdmi => dvi cord??

Has anyone been able to find a reasonably priced long hdmi => dvi cord?? I'm trying to hook my HDTivo up to my projector and it's not quite long enough.

what is long?
And you may want to make sure that is the path you *really* want to take.
On my ht1000 the component is so good, that it isn't worth it to run a dvi cable.
But that said, just because cables have odd pricing structures, it may be worthwhile to use an hdmi to dvi cable, and then a dvi extension cable.

Would this work to extend your current cable?

How long?
At a certain length, DVI cables become optical, expensive but perfectly clean in delivering data.
I got my long HDMI-DVI from Gefen cables.

As far as how long, I figured that I need about an extra 7-8 feet. The DVI male to female posted by Gomer Pyle may work.
How about this. Can I use the HDMI=>HDMI cord with some connector to splice it with the HDMI=>DVI cord - or will I be losing too much with the extra connection?

I have a 15-foot HDMI-DVI cable from www.dvigear.com which works great, at $70.
I also have a 50-foot HDMI-HDMI cable and a hdmi-dvi adapter plug which works great, as well it should given that the WireWorld Ultraviolet cable is $650.
