im intrested in buying a tivo to go with my dtv but i have no home phone line just cell. is there away around this? thanks for any help

Do you have broadband? If so, you can connect your Tivo through that. If not, get a DirecTivo, ans they don't really need a phone lone except for initial setup, software updates, and PPV reporback.
