Sopranos Season Final (Pre-Spoilers)

First let me say that I'm kind of suprised this is only a 1 hour show. I thought I remembered the season finales being longer in the past.

Anyway, looking at the Tivo description for the show, I thought it might be fun to speculate about what's going to happen. Please only post speculation. If you actually know anytihng, please use spoiler tags.

OK first we have "Johnny Sack turns up the heat". Well that's no shock but with the way things have been going with this show it could mean nothing more than him cooking burgers on the grill.

"Carmella counts her blessings". OK, this could be boring, or blessings could mean she meets with the priest again. Who am I kidding, either way, it's going to be boring.

"Christopher has an unexpected visitor". OK, this could be anything. I suspect it will be the FBI showing up. But wouldn't it be cool if it was the Russian from the Pine Barrens episode?

"A.J. demonstrates his business acumen". OK, I guess this means it's going to be a comedy. I can't belive they'd even give this moron air time on the season finale.

Why no episode Sunday (May 30)? I thought there were two more episodes... meaning Sunday and then the Season Finale this up coming week.

IMHO, there was no episode Sunday due to it being a holiday weekend. Networks have become notoriously paranoid about showing a "prime, new" episode when the viewership is expected to be down, for whatever holiday reason people do other things.

Actually, there are two more episodes of Deadwood, but only one more of The Sopranos. Not very good planning, IMO.

Actually, good planning, they get season finales two straight weeks, finales generally mean ratings.

How 'bout the moronic Steve Doobercy spilling that

Chrissy gets wacked this weekend.

So I dont watch the preview, avoid reading spoilered stuff here and this morning teleprompter jockey ruins a surprise for me.

That's a good point -- spreads things out so as to get longer, wider exposure for their network.

The Sacks have a new sauna and Johnny's wife is trying to lose weight by sweating it off. Johnny helps out by turning the dial.

I fear this will be an opposite of last year's season finale - A Tony/Carmela love-fest.

The finale tonight is gonna be all done with song and dance. Kinda a cross between cop-rock & boston public

Looking forward to Paulie's dance number!
