North Shore on Fox?

I just saw an ad for North Shore on Fox. Is it just me, or did they take the original concept of Skin, put it in an OC-esque setting at the beach, and declare it a new program?

OC=90210
North Shore=Melrose Place

Wow if you think "OC=90210" then you probably haven't really seen both of them.
The OC actually has storylines for the adults, which 90210 never had. 90210 was also Aaron Spelling tripe.

I'll respectively have to disagree with you. I bet I could point to a 90210 episode for almost every OC story line we watched this year....Don't get me wrong, I love them both. My original point was just that there were some similarities between the old "Spelling" shows and this new batch of Fox shows.

I'm thinking of a show where you could compare OC with... can't think of any... probably a mix of Dawsons Creek and Gilmore Girls.

That was my reaction as well when I saw the ad. I was trying to figure out whose dad was the DA.
As far as OC=90210 comparisons, they didn't kill the "Steve" character off in 90210 ;)
