Thanks for ruining The Screen Savers. Now the volume is all screwed up . The output of the show is so freaking low that I have to turn my receiver up quite a bit. Guess how it sounds when a commercial comes on. Of course I 30 second skip commercials but many times I just have the show on while I'm on my computer, kind of like background noise.
Comcast sucks!

There was always a sound compression problem with TSS, Leo even explained on a show once, but tonight's sound was way off now that you mention it.

Maybe it's just through your cable provider? I didn't notice any audio problems watching it via DirecTV tonight.

No, check out the long bitch thread about TechTV. He isn't alone.

I am guessing that Tech TV is a digital channel. It is out here. If so, Comcast has no control over the volume, That is done in the digital compression center.

I'm watching via directv. And I agree the problem existed on a much smaller scale prior to the G4 conversion but the last two nights have be so bad that if it continues I'll never watch TTG4 again.

I'll have to check it again tonight.
Having to create the manual repeating recording was annoying. Got tired of it recording every showing every day.

Replayed last night's 7pm SS episode today and I didn't notice a low audio problem.

It was even worse tonight, the audio was slow low that when the commercial hit my younger daughter jumped straight up and ran out of the room!
And for the guy who can't read the sig, I have DirecTV not cable.

Maybe some other guy should have noticed he wasn't the one being spoken to.

Comcast has control over it because Comcast now owns the channel. :(
