extra long Touching Evil Season Finale

The Season Finale of Touching Evil on 6/14 is 75 minutes long. TiVo is only showing up as 1hour. Pad accordingly and watch for conflicts.

anyone know why yhe guide data is terribly generic for the next 2 airings? Granted, that's long been an issue with Monk on USA, but Touching Evil hasn't had that problem in the past.

The last time I looked (yesterday, I guess), I had about 10 episodes scheduled to record! I'm hoping the data will clear up within the next 24 hours ...

The SP had been working fine until now.

I've noticed the Guide Data has been bad on and off for quite some time.

I just realized I missed episode no. 7 because of it, too :( I must have cancelled one I thought was a rerun.

It doesn't help USA's website hasn't updated the TE schedule since the end of April!

how come the season premiere is showing up on my tivo as June 7 "Grief" ?

What do you mean it's showing as the Season Premiere?

It doesn't say season premiere on my guide, but the original air date does say 6/7/2004. The episode list on TV Tome shows this as 1-12 with Mercy as 1-13.
Just another new episode for us.

I don't even have a 6/14 episode showing up. I do have a 6/17 which has a generic title like 14 others. I have about 14 episodes that are incorrectly supposed to be recorded as well. The last one that seems correct is "Grief" on 6/7 but nothing for 6/14.

What is even stranger is if I do a search by channel or time for T.E. for 6/14 the final episode shows up (and correctly titled except without the extra 15 minutes listed) but that 6/14 episode does not show up in my season pass upcoming episode list. Very strange.

The 6/7 showing of Grief and the 6/14 shoing of Mercy are the only two new episodes left for the season, right?

BTW, how do you know the season finale is 75 minutes long?

Yes, those are the only 2 remaining episodes.

The USA website also mentions that the finale is 75 minutes long, despite what the guide data says. USA schedule

Not to the page you sent. Guess their site doesn't work well with Safari for MacOS X. I'd tell them but I see no way to contact them on their site. The "Share your opinion" link just opens a blank page (at least in Safari, I'm not going to bother to try other browsers).

Definitely thanks for the heads-up! I'd be pissed if I had missed the last 15 minutes.

For what it's worth, all the episodes my TiVo sees have generic descriptions as well, except for "Grief" and "Mercy."

My To Do List showed the Touching Evil generic episodes as scheduled to record even though my Season Pass is set to First Run only.

I found that all the re-run episodes had the generic description and the First run had legitimate descriptions. I can't believe that the season is already over for this show. :( How many episodes does that make?

Has anyone else noticed a static noise in random areas on USA? :mad: I first noticed it when watching the Touching Evil pilot. And now in every episode, it happens probably 4 times during the course of the show. Now that Dead Zone is in season, I will see if it is affected, also.
