Order of deletion

one thing i think would be a good option, which should be up to the user to use it or not, would be to delete all programs set to delete when "space needed" in the order they are in the season pass thing.....

for example lets say u had 30 epsiodes of StarGate Sg-1 (the best show, i've seen almost every epsiode), and lets say you have 5 epsiodes of a higher ranking show, for example Law and Order... if they are both set to delete when "space needed"... then they delete in the order recorded, right? i would like tivo to delete the stargates first (i can always record them again later) and i would like tivo to keep the Law&Orders, unless the tivo was filling with higher priority shows...

does that make sense?.... maybe someone has mentioned this subject before, in that case im sorry and could you post the link to the thread, because it would seem to me that this would be wanted by others also... maybe its just me...

TiVo deletes shows in expiration order (except for keep at most options and other such exceptions). Thus, you can change the order in which shows are deleted by changing their Keep/Save Until times.

but i dont want to keep them for a certain time i just want them to be deleted in a certain order

I understand, but that's all you can do with the existing interface. For example, if you set all your unexpired Stargates to expire by Sunday and set all your L&O episodes to expire Monday or later, then all your Stargates will be deleted before any of your L&O episodes (again, except for the exceptions).
