Transfer Problems

I recently replaced the 120GB drive in one of my Series 2s. I restored from a backup and made multiple connections to get everything updated. It may not be significant, but I also changed the names of the DVRs.

Bedroom has software 4.01b-02-2-240 and Computerroom, the one with the new drive has 4.01b-01-2-240.

Advanced Trouble shooting on Computeroom shows Transfers Enabled, no connection for the Computeroom but shows a confirmed connection with Bedroom and has the correct information. Bedroom shows the same thing in reverse.

Each unit shows up in the Now Playing list of the other and you can select Watch on this TV on either.

Attempting to transfer from Computeroom to Bedroom produces a message saying "...the Bedroom DVR is no longer available or the requested program can no longer be found.

Trying a transfer from Bedroom results in the "..this might take a minute" message hanging on for a long time. When it finally goes away, there is no transfer and the program is not listed in the To Do list.

Signal strength is 80% or better for each. Remote Scheduling works on both.

Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on???

i currently have a similar issue. both of my tivos are running 4.01b-02-2-240. one has a 60% connection and one has an 80% connection. neither have any problems calling, or with remote scheduling, but when i try to use remote viewing on either, i pick the program, it waits a few seconds, and then i get the "DVR is no longer available" message. i have the same D-Link DWL-122 on both of them.

Sounds like a wireless issue not being able to keep signal.

I have wired network and can run transfers in real time. 1/2 hour best takes 1/2 hour.
