Hey alright -- another season of Coupling!

9 ½ Minutes was a great start, and I am now not so skeptical about the addition of Oliver to the group. Isn't it amazing how horrible the NBC version was? I know the track record for UK->US shows is pretty bad, but NBC's version was incredibly awful.

I don't disagree that the U.S. version wasn't as good, but I really wish it had gotten a better chance, as it might, just might, have introduced more people to this great show eventually.

I really wish that NBC had just put on the U.K. version of the show, but they're too stupid for that, plus they wouldn't have owned it, etc. Along with the problem of the U.K. series only having a total of about 30 shows so far.

But... it is definitely nice to have this show back. Tonites wasn't the best episode, but it was Coupling, and it was pretty good.

The first 9 1/2 minutes of this episode seemed, I don't know, clumsy, but by the end of the show, they turned clever. Apart from the great humor, a lot of people don't realize the creativity of the storytelling itself. This episode was even better done than "Split".

I'll give Oliver a chance, but so far, he's just a stranger speaking Jeff's lines. I guess the actor who played Jeff left because he didn't want to be typecast, but I say too late. I saw him perfectly clear on the airplane.
