stuck midway through my second attempt at this upgrade...

Allright here is where I'm at:

I obtained a *.bak file containing a good, tested image from which to restore. I took an older drive from one of my pc's and formatted it and placed my *.bak file on it. It is Fat32.

Now to mix things up a bit I have a "previous attempt" file set on the destination drive (the drive to which I want to upgrade). Basically I had originally used the dd command spokent about in Hindsdale's how to and the TiVo still did not function properly.

Now, would it be best for me to try and format the "previous attempt" drive? Originally I tried this, but had no luck locating it through DOS. I've got the drive with the *.bak file connected to the Primary Slave ribbon, and the "new" drive connected to the secondary master ribbon.

From the hindsdale how to it looked like this was the command I was supposed to issue:
mfsrestore -s 127 -xzpi /mnt/dos/tivo.bak /dev/hdc

It did not work. Am I waaaaay off?
