I don't have TIVO HD yet. I am getting a DTV receiver & dish Tuesday.
But, my Toshiba 32HF73 book says that the HD connected device needs to be turned on after the TV and turned off before the TV. How could you use TIVO if this is true ?

Here is the quote from the book: "To ensure that the DVI/HDCP device is reset properly, it is recommended that you follow these procedures: turn on the TV first and then the DVI/HDCP device. Turn off the DVI/HDCP device first, then the TV."

I'm reasonably certain that putting the HR10-250 into standby will do what you need.
