I would like the option of being able to select BOTH HD and non-HD channels via TiVo remote. Right now, I have to select via my Satellite/Off-air (DirecTV) receiver. I'd like the TiVo show listings to also display digital channels in my area.

For example, in the Atlanta area, NBC is on channel 11. But the same station also broadcasts digitally on 11-1. So when I select to record an NBC show, it records from the analog signal, rather than the digital. I would like the option of telling TiVo to go to 11-1, rather than 11.

In a blended lineup, I believe TiVo attempts to select what it "thinks" will be the best signal when choosing between OTA and satellite. Normally this would be satellite instead of OTA for a locals. Since you can't record HDTV anyway, why is this a problem.? Is the OTA signal better?

Have you tried de-selecting the SAT channel 11 in channels you receive?
