I noticed that to my surprise the nbc.com front page says "Last Comic Standing
9/8pm Tomorrow & Wednesday -- Tuesday following the premiere of Next Action Star, don't miss part one of the Las Vegas Finals! Then on Wednesday, part two reveals the final group heading to Hollywood."

My understanding from my TiVo's program guide was that this show was going to be just a Tuesday night event for new episodes.

When you go to the nbc page for LCS...the marquee shows Tuesdays only.

Zap2it.com also show no LCS on Wednesday, with the 2nd vegas finals on Tuesday the 22nd. From my understanding, zap2it uses Tribune Media Services which is where standalone tivos get their info.

Today 6/16 NBC WebSite says Wednesday at 9pm for LCS

At least for EDT I didn't check other time zones

I set it up to record Law&Order (what TiVo says is on at 9pm) since there were no other conflicts that I couldn't reschedule.

Just checked my guide and there is a listing for it Wednesday at 9 EST.

It certainly appears that NBC is planning on airing the new epsiode on Wed June 16th. I just returned from a friends house who has DirecTiVo and his guide did show correctly the show on Wednesday. Upon returning home, my standalone Tivo still does not show the wed showing.

It is true that the guide for DirecTivo come from DirecTV, while the guide for standalone TiVos comes from Tribune Media Services, so it appears only the Tribune info is incorrect. Tribune data can also be checked at zap2it.com

So ALERT to all standalones - must manual record LCS at 9pm EST/8pm CST for 1 hour. It will list Law and Order, but it will record LCS.

Weird. It isn't scheduled on my standalone, and I don't have anything else recording anywhere near 9pm, so it couldn't be a conflict.

I forced a daily call to happen as I went to bed on Tuesday night. Now on Wednesday morning, my standalone now correctly shows the LCS on Wednesday at 9E/8C. So hopefully anyone that is not prepared will still get it.

My TiVo called in yesterday and not only is it not scheduled (as I already noted), but today's episode doesn't even show up in the guide data when I view all upcoming programs. I guess I'll set up a manual recording...

Manual recording would certainly solve it, but if you force another daily call now (Messages & Setup->Recorder & Phone Setup->Phone Connection->Make Daily Call Now) then it should update your guide after it processes all the info and reindexes. This may take maybe a half hour? Not sure?

I just got home and checked ToDo List. No LCS scheduled tonight! So I checked the Season Pass. Sure enough the episode is listed buy it wasn't scheduled.
So, I checked the Recording History. It wasn't even listed!!! Anyone have this problem? I've seen this happen before where an episode of a show is rescheduled and it never is set to record, and there is no reason why in Recording History.

yeah, I guess I'll try to force another call. I thought for sure yesterday would have been enough. I actually forced a couple of calls yesterday afternoon/evening for a completely different reason. ah, well. I have better things to complain about, so I'm going to just go and solve the problem best I can now. :D

Shoot. I got Tuesday's episode.

Was there a new episode on Wednesday? Neither my TiVo or Replay seemed to know about it. Is it rerunning on Comedy Central this weekend? Is THEIR schedule up to date? Pls help! ;)

Edit: My TiVo missed it due to a conflict (Simple Life 2) and my Replay was set by me to only record on Tuesday. Oops.

Anyway, rerun of Wed. episode is on Sat. at 8pm, Sun. night (Mon. morning) at midnight on Comedy Central according to their website.

I just went in to TCO to try to record the repeats... and when I entered "Last Comic Standing" in the search box, I got ***nothing***!

What's up with THAT!?

When I went to look by channel, I got this (mind you, I'm on central time):

There's no midnight showing on 11/20, and the descriptions must be all wrong.

When I first set up a wishlist, my history showed it was not recording the Vegas Finals because of the 28 day rule. The only thing I can think of is that the first two episodes had generic descriptions and that confused TiVo into thinking it had already recorded the new episodes.

The guide data (at least for me!) was screwed up on the 6/16 installment: The original airdate was listed as 6/16/2003. My FRO pass didn't pick it up; I don't know if a FR&Repeats would have worked. Anyway, I added it manually in time.
