Everyone loves the show but nobody wants to start the thread, so I guess I will do the honors.
I think both Swearinger and Bullock showed what they were made out of this week. There characters continue to develop into some very interesting people.
I loved when Bullock beat the hell out of Alma's father. I am also interested what is going to happen with Bullock's "wife and kid".
Swearinger killing the preacher was great. I think the Doc sent him over there for just that reason. Swearinger is getting harder and harder not to like.
The Trixie situation is very intriguing to me. I wish that Bullcock's partner wasn't interested in her, because I think Swearinger has real feelings for her.
Can't wait for next season. What did everyone else think?

no spoilers here, but this is an interesting article about how the show has had a positive impact on today's Deadwood.

Here's an interesting analysis of swearing, with a focus on the language of Deadwood: http://www.npr.org/features/feature.php?wfId=1966954

Related to the swearing is the liberal use of pejorative terms for minorities. I understand the "dirt worshippers" reference to the Indians, but why do they refer to the Chinese as "celestials"? Do they think they came from another planet?

If anyone who did not watch this series happens to read your post they might think you really have something against preachers. :D
