My random suggestions...

1. Make it so I can delete an entire "folder" of shows at once. So, if I have 23 episodes of South Park and want to clear them off, I don't have to go and delete them one at a time. I select the folder and select delete and all 23 are gone.

2. If I watch part of a show, and stop it, the next time I go into play it, I only have the option to "Resume". I would like to be able to just select "Start Over".

3. If I get near the end of a show (< 5 minutes) and I stop watching it, it askes me to delete it or keep it. If I select keep it, I should also be able to resume where I left off instead of it going back to the beginning automatically.

4. Be able to program all my TiVos from one.

5. For the TiVo's to be able to work together so if there is a conflict on one, and nothing is recording on the other, the one not recording will record the second show and transfer to the conflicting TiVo when it's done.

6. Have a "Recycle Bin" where deleted shows are kept until space runs out so I might be able to recover a show I deleted.

The clear button does this.

Random suggestion from ME:

REMOTE SCHEDULING ONLINE

Would like to see my:
To Do list
As it would appear on my tivo. This will just eliminate me from scheduling a recording but not finding out till I get home that it cannot be recorded due to conflict.

i second the motion. that's why the remote schedule is not very useful. they always conflict.

implementing this would require real time access to your database at home. right now, they allow 15-30 minute call-in (connect to tivo service) schedule.

I agree to the remote scheduling. About the only thing I use it for is to pick up future airings of movies I get to watch 10 minutes of in the break room at lunch at work. I can select a future airing at some time like 2am and not worry too much about conflicts. I've done that more than once when I needed to get back to work but really wanted to see the rest of the movie!

Oh, and the recycle bin would be a life saver for someone like me who deletes today to make room, only to want to watch that show tomorrow. I have major problems with "make up your mind syndrome"!

Re: #3 - If you pause before you try to exit the show within the last 5 minutes, it won't ask you if you want to delete it or not, and it will remember your paused position if/when you resume playback.

Previously (in earlier software), this was your only option. You had to manually pause the recording for it to remember where you left off. So I would assume there was more of a demand for the current setup than what you are asking for. Basically, you are saying you liked it the old way better.

2) Hit the skip to tick button, press TiVo and then select or right to not delete

5) Been asked for. Search for "Cooperative Scheduling"

6) Been asked for.

I would also like to be able to admin my To Do list, Wishlists, Season Passes with my computer that is on my network that my TiVo is connected to.

2. My Skip to Tick skips 30 seconds... Plus, it is still not what I want. I can't imagine it would be that hard to add to the menu.

5. So? It still doesn't do it so I'm asking again.

6. Same answer...

Or perhaps they should have the left the old way, and added the resume, just like replaytv has. One of the features I want added to this new tivo/dvd unit I now have.
