Hello, I have a new 80hr TiVo series 2 machine. It is hooked into my home network via a D-link DI-624+ router (wired connection).

I do not have any HMO options available on the TiVo. The TiVo System information lists all of the HMO features as "inactive." The TiVo has been able to phone home from the network. I can see the Tivo on my router, and the TiVo server on my computer (Win XP home) sees the TiVo correctly.

I can ping the TiVo just fine.

However, there is no "Music & Pictures" menu on my TiVo. There is also no manual server connection that I have seen mentioned here. The TiVo software is version 4.0.1b-02-2-240.

I have tried disabling Norton Internet Security and this does not help.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well for some reason HMO isn't activated on your TiVo. Since it's a new TiVo I'd say give it a few days to activate. If it still doesn't post back here.

You can also try forcing a call or two, but you probably just have to wait.

When did you activate it?

I did mine on thursday but HMO didnt become active until today (Thanks to TiVoBill)

The CSR said to allow at least 3 days/72hours and if it isnt there by then to call.

Thanks guys. It took a few days and a couple of forced connects and resets, but I now have it.

The TiVo directions for HMO is pretty cr*ppy. I was pulling my hair out (which I can't afford to do) thinking it was my network or computer.
