Can anyone give me advice on hooking up a Dlink 713p router for use with HMO? It seems as if the Tivo unit stops on reboot while trying to get an address from the DHCP Server.
I have trief 3 different adapters.. I am currently using a D-Link DUB-E100. The Linksys USBM200 and Linksys USB100TX work the same way
Am I missing a setting on my router?
Thanks
Ron

I don't know why your unit stops on reboot, but I don't think it should do this even if there were a problem with the router.
As far as router issues. Double check that you are not MAC filtering on your router. My Dlink 704p worked fine. Almost every router will work perfectly out of the box for Tivo. And double check your ethernet cable or try another one.

Yeah, I tried a known cable that works.... I even reset the router to its default settings, but no go. I know the adapter works as I tried it and the Tivo box on another router with no problems.
Thanks for the help

Well I went out and bought DLInk DI-524... worked perfect out the box.
Apparently the 713p has some problems communicating with the Tivo.
