OTA recording failures

Hey guys,

I'm starting to get some OTA stuff (crossed fingers). I can get NBC about 80% and FOX about 95% of the time. I tried recording some NBC shows tonight and the recordings failed. If the signal drops the recording stops immediately? Is this the case and is there any way around it?

Thanks a bunch!

Anyone?

It only records when there is a semi-usable signal but it doesn't kill the recording as a whole. With my bad signal problems sometimes I'd get nothing, sometimes 20-30-45 minutes of an hour long program. I can't think of a more graceful way to handle OTA signal drops.

My experience when trying to record the Pistons/Lakers game was that there was a drop about ten seconds into the program for a few seconds. Rather than just recording continuously and waiting for the signal to rearrive--it simply stopped recording. My playback was approx. ten seconds.
