I have a Series2 in my media room that I have a lifetime subscription on as well as having paid the $99 for the HMO (which i won't go into now).

I want to put another Tivo inbedroom to be able to view recorded stuff only....not to record on.

My question is...if I buy a 2nd Series2 from eBay but do NOT buy a subscription for it, can I still do multi-room viewing?

Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to get a subscription for the new unit.
Tivo has dropped there price from 12.95 to 6.95 for additional tivos you want to add to your home.
HMO was given as a function for free on all new Series 2 units.
