until i get this tivo desktop up and running.. error 1053
i can ping the tivo from my pc but they still won't talk back and forth.

no beacon, no server, no drop down from tivo server to config,

works when i am hard wired for schedualing high speed 1 hour,
OS xp, no phone line, no modem all through my router i have a conflict in my other software that has been the problem, still looking.......

if your using aol's router magic ...delete it and retry bootup..
