Sorry if this has been addressed already, I searched but could not find an answer.

Can I remove the "default" servers from the Music & Photos screen, i.e. the "New music from Best Buy" & the Nikon entries?

Or are these similar to the gold star entries and something that is always there?

No, you can only add or let TiVo automatically find them on your network. I never thought of it that way, but like the Yellow Star ads they are always there.

One thing to realize, is no matter how many or how few Servers you have listed, TiVo's Nikon and Best Buy will always be on the bottom.

You might be able to do this with some routers/firewalls. You'd have to figure out what address/address range the TiVo is connecting to these servers with (looking at outgoing access logs on the router might help) then block the TiVo's access to those addresses on port 8080 (possibly the range from 8080-8090 or so.)
