"EastEnders" are available on Dish Network as a PPV $3 something a week or $9.95 a month and a$5.00 service fee. Sure glad I didn"t go the Canada route. The nice thing is it started where they cut it off. See you at the VIC!

PAy per view? I think the episodes they show on BBC America are only 2 or 3 weeks behind the ones now showing in the UK. Why would you pay $3 extra?

Because BBC America stopped carrying the show last fall.

My PBS station doesn't carry it. I've been keeping up via the updates on the BBC web site.

I too was sad to see EastEnders leave BBC America. My local PBS station runs episodes from late 1999, so I'm watching those.

Wow, nice call on the PPV. Now if only I could get Neighbours more up to date. I good hooked while living in England, but the Oxygen shows are 4 years behind...

I called and told a CSR about the "Dish" deal and he said he would send the info. up to Corp. to make them aware of it. So maybe "DirecTV" will get the same kind of "package" for us. Hope so as I would prefer to not have 2 accounts.
