Another HR10-250 dying

My HR10-250 I think is on it's way out. Rebooted 4 or 5 times today and locked up a couple others.

Lasted almost 2 months.

Hope my 2nd and 3rd one's fair better. My second one will be here Tuesday. Will have to contact DirecTV about getting a replacement.

I think it is the HD but, I guess it could be the power supply hard to say really.

Did you have any problems with losing power or power glitches before your Tivo problems? I recently had to replace mine due to hard drive failure but before the problem started we had alot of power drop outs due to all the bad weather in Dallas lately. I bought a UPS this weekend for my new unit to smooth out any power drops (I saw it recommended somewhere in this forum), if momentary power loss is a problem you have you may consider this too for your new Tivo.

Actually the last few days have been storm free for a change. I think Thursday or Friday was the last storms in the area. I did a full reset on the box last night and waited for it to complete. Re did the guided setup and when I got up this AM it rebooted itself and was stuck on the Powering up screen again. I power cycled it and left for work. So it still is FUBAR.
