I tried out HMO when it was in trial mode and really wasn't impresssed. Now it's free for all S2 subscribers and I still never use it.

1. Multi viewing - Would probably use it if I had 2 S2s
2. Remote Scheduling - My hacked S2 with tivoweb is far better.
3. Mp3s. My wife is the mp3 buff, she has a portable 20 GB Nomad that she plugs into the stereo when she wants to play stuff. She prefers that.
4. Pictures - Computer is in the same room as the TV so it's easier to just bring stuff up on the TV.

What would REALLY be impressive though would be the ability to stream mpg video over to the tivo from a computer. I might have actually considered buying HMO if it had that ability.

This is exactly what I'm waiting for as well. It could happen, me thinks. I have no idea if it will or won't, but I am hopeful nonetheless. :)
