Summer TV - Nip/Tuck?

My to-do list is so lonely! We've got 3 movies in Now Playing, and the only new programs I'm recording are:

World Poker Tour
Celebrity Poker Showdown

Otherwise, it's:

The Wire (s2 reruns - seen them all)
The Shield (s1 reruns - seen them all...AT LEAST TWICE)
Arrested Development (reruns - seen most)
Scrubs (reruns - seen most)
Without a Trace (reruns - seen about half)

I've decided to give a try to:
Monk s3
Deadwood s1

Seeing what my tastes are, is there anything I should add? Does Nip/Tuck belong? If so, do I need to see season 1 first?

It's probably not your taste unless you like Sex in the City for the Guys! But it's a mature show and with a good plot, worth considering. you wont be seeing any action though like the kind in The shield.

you might also want to consider checking "The Dead Zone", "Touching Evil" and Navy NCIS, see if you like 'em.

I think the show is pretty well written, but I can certainly do without the bloody surgery scenes... I guess I am too delicate. :)

macthor tends to go for drama series. thrown in Joe Schmo 2 or happy trigger TV to spice up your list with a laugh.

Need some laughs? What about Futurama, Adult Swim and maybe Best Week Ever on VH1. Do you like reality shows? If so, go for Amazing Race in July.

I recommend Nip/Tuck. You could probably live w/o seeing season 1 but it's on DVD so why not catch up?

Oh, F/X has the new Dennis Leary fireman show Rescue Me coming up too.

I passed on last night's episode (although I'm sure it will repeat often).

I think I've seen all of Futurama - I do like to laugh, but what comedies can I add? King of Queens? Caught some of Last Comic Standing last night, couldn't stand anything but the showdown at the end.

I had forgotten about "Rescue Me" and will give that a shot. I like Denis Leary -- I miss "The Job."

Last night I watched a pervious episode my Tivo recorded. It was the one with the upstairs wife and downstais wife. I like to busted a gut laughting at that one. That was hillarious! I used to watch this show most of the time, I do recommend it. I'm going to catch up on the repeats since all my other shows are over to.
