I spoke with Jonathon, the Manager of the Good Guys in San Mateo, CA. He said they are expecting a shipment of 600 units into their warehouse by next Monday - I presume these will be split up across the bay area good guys stores. He took a 50% deposit over the phone to hold my place in line, and said I could cancel no problem if the units don't come in next week and I don't get in the first allocation.

I got a call from Good Guys in Citrus Heights today on my answering machine. My replacement Hr10 is in. since I have already taken care of that, I might have an HR10-250 I can transfer to somone right now, they might honor my first purchase of $899. Any takers?

I placed my order with the Concord Good Guys on Monday. Was told it will be in tomorrow.

I told them I would only buy it if they gave me 12 months no payments or interest and 10% off based on a current promotion.

The sales person went into the computer and looked at all the current promotions. I would make them search there before buying it. It saved me $100.
