HD Tivo Menus Jerky..

Anyone else notice the "stick" instead of the usual flow? I've had Tivo for over 4 years so I notice it...
Delayed, jerky menus is what I'm seeing...

They are a bit slow but so were the Directivo's in the beginning. I'm sure they will update them periodically and hopefully they will get them to run a bit smoother.

Yeah, it's been reported several times already. Seems to worse for the first few days after initial setup while the DirecTivo is downloading and processing Guide Data. Also sometimes worse while indexing and other background tasks are being performed.

Has anyone noticed the menus slow down when tuned to an HD channel? Both "Now Playing" and the guide seem slower when tuned to HD.

Ya, remote response can be REALLy bad while recording 2 HD channels and playing a 3rd. Its not at all unusuall for me to hit FF three times before the bar shows up on the screen. Hitting play to stop the 60xFF always responds immediately though. Its almost like they've prioritized the remote codes. Its no worse then my Series1 Phillips DSR6000 or my Series2 DVR40, it just seems to have the potential to happen more often.
I've also noticed they didn't do much work with regard to updating the menus. Some of the screens the selection bar doesn't go all the way to the left edge of the screen and sometimes it doesn't. I haven't measured overscan from the HDNet patterns yet, but I'm estimating about 2-3% on all sides. My estimate is based on switching from Wide PC mode to Wide TV mode on my Samsung HLN617w.
But, the most important thing of all...its here, its getting more available, and it timeshifts HD with TiVo functionality. I bought my first DirecTiVo the day they came out at Good Guys in CA several years ago before it even had two active tuners. I have full confidence that things will only get better from here.
