Trying out some new shows so they are at the top of my list.
1. The Amazing Race5
2. Big Brother 5
3. North Shore
4. For Love or Money
5. Who Wants to Marry My Dad?
Posted by: TiVoLance
1. The Amazing Race
2. Nip/Tuck
3. Dead Zone
4. Monk
5. Graham Norton Effect
Posted by: jschuur
I don't really pay much attention to them, since I have 2 tuners in the DirecTiVo and a few extra DVRs, so there's never really conflicts:
1) Smallville
2) Coupling
3) CSI
4) Gilmore Girls
5) What I Like About You
Wow... how did that get to #5?
Posted by: phone1
Sorry, SP ranking means nothing in terms of viewer preference since some cable only broadcasters repeat the same program 5-10 times per week (Monk, Sopranos, etc.) You should include programs that air only once at the top, like CSI, even if they are not your top 5 favorites.
If you put repeating programs near the top you risk missing a single broadcast program. TiVo will not skip a higher ranked SP/ARWL for a lower one, even if the higher one has other broadcast times.

Excellent suggestion. It at first seems a bit wrongheaded to align them this way but it makes great sense. I always watched Deadwood/Six Feet Under/Monk a bit late in the week but that allows Tivo to grab other things in the meantime.

1. Raw
2. 24
3. Law & Order
4. Jag
5. Las Vegas

NONE of my top 5 (even 10!) are showing new eps now, so I've added some SP's & ARWL's to the bottom of the list -
Monk
Deadwood
World Poker Tour
Celebrity Poker Showdown
For the record, my top 5 are:
The Shield
24
West Wing
NYPD Blue
Smallville

Top 5
1) Shield (trying to get any of the older episodes)
2) Americas next top model ( i missed original so I am getting them now)
3) Dr. Who (shows PBS late night Saturday Evenings)
4) Wolfs Rain
5) Love Boat (my sis loves this show and wants me to get some to archive)
I recently added the following season pass--- History Detectives, NYPD 24/7, Last Comic Standing, T.H.E.M.

Only counting shows that are currently airing new episodes:
Six Feet Under
Drew Carey
Last Comic Standing
Bernie Mac
Quintuplets

Well it gets really complicatednow.
1 & 2 White Sox baseball WL. I have 2 because the first one is for HD and the second one catches all the rest.
3 & 4 on the list are Bears football WL. Same as above, one for HD one for SD.
5 Sopranos. Normally with the number of repeats I'd have this down the list, but it's not broadcast that often on the HD channel. Of course this will be dormant for a long time now.
6 Deadwood - See Sopranos
7 The Simpsons
8 Arrested Development
Actually, I have nothing really being recorded now except 21 which is Drew Carey and 24 Oliver Beene. After that it's quickly down to 35 with Last Comic Standing.
The good news is that my list goes to #68 and I still never run out of things to watch.
Posted by: kc2jib
1. Friends
2. The Drew Carey Show
3. North Shore
4. Two and a Half Men
This fall Friends will be replaced with Joey.

(Actual top 5 -- most aren't even recording right now :( )
1. Stargate SG-1
2. Monk
3. 24
4. Dead Zone
5. Tru Calling
Posted by: jgerry
1) Six Feet Under
2) Nip/Tuck
3) Las Vegas
4) Reno 911!
5) The Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart
6) The West Wing (can't stop watching the reruns that I've already seen 5 times)
7) Newshour w/ Jim Lehrer
Ok, that's 7 not 5. And I've removed a lot of SPs that won't have new eps until Fall. Maybe this way I won't keep watching the same old crap next year? I'm actually trying to watch less TV (I know it's a travesty to say that here).

Nope. SP Reduction is actually fun, and it helps your relationship and social life! :)

1) Farscape
2) Stargate SG-1
3) The Shield
4) Curb your enthusiasm
5) 24
Sadly, nothing in my top 10 is even running new episodes at the moment.

At the very least, you're making room for the fall season ;)

We have 3 Tivos, but I'll stick with what's on the main unit with all the hours. A number of the top ones are in reruns right now:
Alias
Tru Calling
24
Law & Order SVU
Enterprise
If you just look at stuff airing right now and not in reruns/on hiatus:
Amazing Race
The Jury
Monster House
Joe Schmo 2
Dead Zone
Monk
